ART HUB 2025-2026

Tuesdays 15:45 – 17:00

The course will begin with observational drawing from life which is a key requirement for GCSE Art and Design. This will then be used as a stimulus and starting point in which to develop a variety of skills and learn to work with new materials. Students will be encouraged to develop and explore their ideas and individual outcomes.
Students already studying GCSE at school, will be given the opportunity to work on any unfinished projects in order to enhance and improve their portfolios.
Part of the course will involve art appreciation. Students will learn how to read artwork and discuss opinions using the inhouse gallery.
N.B. There will be no clay work as we do not have access to the pottery studio.
